concept :
generally , in order to find H2 and O2 utilized to obtain water, so we have to use balance chemical equation for the production of water from H2 and O2 and then apply Gay-Lussac's Law of Gaseous volumes to calculate the volume of water vapour produced.
2H2 (g) + O2 (g) ----> 2H2O (g)
we observed that ,
2 volume of H2 react with 1 volume of O2 and form 2 volume of H2O.
Therefore , 10 volume of H2 react with 5 volume of O2 and form 10 volume of H2O.
hence, 10 volume of water vapour will be produced.
