charge of protons = +e = 2/3 e + 2/3 e - 1/3 e
[ charge on proton = 1.6 × 10^-19 C = +e , ]
so, we can say configuration of proton is 'uud'
similarly
charge of neutron = 0 = +2/3 e - 1/3 e -1/3 3
[ neutron is neutral subayomic particle. so, charge on neutron is zero.]
so, configuration of neutron is 'udd'
