Answer:

a) Division of powers (Legisture, Executive and Judiciary) and Independent Judiciary.

b) The speaker of Lok Sabha is chosen by the members of Lok Sabha. Whichever contestant has the majority votes, they get elected to be the speaker.

c) The Rajya Sabha is the upper house of the parliament. A member elected serves for a period of 6 years for a full term.

d) The President can be removed from the office on some grounds such as Treason, Bribery, Crimes, etc.

e) The emergency powers of the President are divided into three types ; National, State and Financial emergencies. One emergency :

An emergency can be called if there is a danger to the national security due war or Armed Rebellion. [Comes under National Emergency]

f) Individual responsibility makes the government ministers responsible for not only their own actions, but also for those of their department.

g) The President is the defender of the government in the parliament.

h) The maximum number of judges in the supreme court is 30, but presently there have been added 4 more judges to it, making it 34.

i) The writ of Quo warranto is to confirm the rights of citizens to hold public offices. It is made such that the higher authority have to show what they are holding in the office.

j) The Lok Sabha has the most power in money matters. The Rajya Sabha cannot reject any laws passed by the Lok Sabha. It can only delay it for 14 days or suggest changes in it. So Lok Sabha has the ultimate say in money bill.
