The weather was pleasant and the bright blue sea appeared calm. Robin rowed the boat and it glided forward .Sitting alone on a beach robin felt himself like a speck of sand against the vastness of the sea. Suddenly he saw a boat coming towards the shore. It meant someone was coming.
Robin was not used to people. his father and he lived alone on that unchartered island. Solitude helped him concentrate on his research and so, he came here with his father when he was Seven. While he was busy cogitating, the speck on the horizon grew bigger, came nearer.
The boat, a runabout, sailed in. Robin stood there, obscured behind the bushes, observing everything. Two men got off the boat. The bigger one was carrying a lad on his shoulder. He peered through the sea lavender which hid him from their view, as they placed the young man on the golden sand. They sat in their boat and left .Robin came out from my hiding. He tiptoed to the figure which lay on the sand which was now glittering. He bent over to see his face. Blond hair, almost as golden as the sand, fell across his face. With a jolt, his blue eyes opened up wide. They were bluer than the Tenerife sea.
It all felt like a dream. That's when He realised that it was one. The Mirage in front of my eyes faded, and once again I was staring at the horizon, admiring the crimson sunset which bled across the sky.
