A coin is tossed three times . but we know , only two possibilities outcomes from tossing a coin e.g Head ( H ) or tail ( T ) .
so, total number of possible outcomes = total number of sample space = 2³ = 8
e.g., S = { (HHH) , (HHT) , (HTT) , (TTT) , (TTH), (THH) , (THT) , ( HTH) }
so, total number of possible outcomes = total number of sample space = 2³ = 8
