There's an easy way of finding median

  • First arrange the numbers given in asscending or descending number
  • Then cut the numbers in pair by both the sides
  • Now in between if there is one number is left then that will be your median
  • But if there will be two numbers left at end then you have to take both the number's between number
  • If we take this example: 42,55,49,35,56,53,52,41,47,34 Now I would prefer asscending order So it would be:34,35,41,42,47,49,52,53,55,56 Now I will cut the numbers in pair from both sides so 34,56 and 35,55 and 41,53 and 42,52 so 47 and 49 are left so 48 comes between 47 and 49 so the median is 48
  • If only one number was left like only 49 was left then the median would be 49
