1) The square of an odd number is odd.

The above given sentence is true.

*Let's take the example of number 5.

=>Let's find its square:-

As we know square of a number is the number multiplied by itself.

So,

 {5 }^{2}  = 5 \times 5 = 25

As we can see, odd×odd=odd

That means an odd number multiplied by itself will always be odd.

Hence proved that the square of an odd number is odd.
