concept : if vertex ( 0,0) and focus (-a, 0) where a is positive term then equation of parabola will be of the form , y² = - 4ax

Here, Focus ( -2, 0) , hence, a = 2
so, equation of parabola is
y² = -4ax
y² = -4 × 2 × x
y² = -8x
