⏩During pollination 1 Pollen Grain is dropped on the stigma of the pistle. The the Pollen grain releases to male gamets. One of the male gamete fuses with the egg or the ovum and the other fuses with the polar nuclei.

⏩Fusion of one of the male gamets with two polar nuclei is known as triple Fusion.

⏩The polar nuclei and the male gamete is involved in the triple fusion.

Hello,

In simple words, triple fusion means when one male Gamete that is vegetative gamete fuses with egg and the other male gamete fuses with primary endosperm nucleus.

What happens is pollen tube entres from micropylar end. After penetrating , the first male Gamete fuses with the egg and this is called as double fertilization.

And the other male gamete fuses with two polar nuclie. This entire event is known as triple fusion.
