In the question

(P×12×2.5)/100 +300=( P×8×4.5)/100

0.3P +300= 0.36P

(0.36-0.30)P= 300

0.06P=300

SO principal(P)= 300/0.06

=5000 Rupees

So sum = 5000 rupees
