Given :  (u/v)'

To find : The quotient rule

(u'v-uv')/2

(u'v-uv')/v

(u'v+uv')/v²

(u'v-uv')/v²

Solution:

(u/v)'

= ( u  * (1/v) )'

Applying product rule

= u'(1/v)  + u (1/v)'

=  u'(1/v)  + u (-v'/v²)

= u'/v   - uv'/v²

= u'v/v² - uv'/v²

= (u'v - uv')/v²

The quotient rule, (u/v)'is (u'v - uv')/v²
