For many people, the land in America is the only thing they find to be beautiful in this world. But as a young adult I have already left the country to find many eye opening sights beyond the land of the United States. To me, the most beautiful place I have ever been was the island of Jamaica. It is easy for me to find peace and beauty on this island.
The first thing that hit me like a massage of aroma as I stepped off the plane was the sweet moist air of this tropical island. The fruit, flowers, and over all natural environment is enough to make me never want to leave. I gather all of this, and I haven't even left the airport yet.
The local taxicab takes me across the island. Overwhelmed by beauty far and wide I find myself breathless. The ocean, clear as a finely cut African diamond is blue and beautiful. Continuing across the island I find that towering mountains have surrounded me as far as my eye can see. But in the valleys are grazing cows and galloping horses on the smooth flatlands of Jamaica. Not believing how fast the cab ride has gone I arrive at a small hotel on the beach.
