This is a type of irony or we can say it is a comment on Mrs. Packletide and in this question we should describe how was Mrs. Packletide's shot.If it is good then how? if it is bad then how? Ans.- Mrs. Packletide was not a good shot.She only wanted to over show in front of Mrs. Loona Bimberton. She just because of jealousy wanted to shoot out a tiger. She also didn't know how to hold the gun. When she fired, her eyes were closed and the bullet hitted to the goat not to the tiger. Thus, Mrs.Packletide was not a good shot.

Mrs. Packletide was not at all a good shooter. This statement can be justified by the action where she was supposed to shoot the tiger but instead shot the bait, the goat. She spent so much money on this shoot but all in vain as she did not shoot her target. However, she was a cunning lady who took a chance and changed the fake to reality by declaring that she had shot the tiger, truth being otherwise.
