Does it make sense to stay close to your teammates in Apex Legends?

After landing the battle ground the teammates should not go too far away that he/she cannot be saved ,they should loot at the minimum distance and and then while getting into the zone they should stick to one another in order to fight in a combat and to survive together.
Because a solo can never take out a squad alone if he or she is not a professional player but staying close to your teammates really helps you to survive till the last.
