In India, Cyclone is tracked through SCATSAT-1 satellite.

• SCATSAT-1 satellite is formed by the ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore .
• This satellite is used for making predictions about a cyclone and weather forecasts.
• However, due to TWTA instrument failure, SCATSAT-1 satellite has been disabled in India from  28 February 2021.
