it is given that, current through 5Ω resistor is 1amp.

all the given resistors are joined in parallel combination.

and we know, potential difference across all resistors will be same if these are joined in parallel combination.

so, potential difference across 5Ω resistor , V= 5Ω × 1ohm = 5volts

now current through 10Ω resistor = V/R = 5volts/10Ω = 0.5Amp

current through 4Ω resistor = V/R'

= 5volts/4Ω = 1.25 amp

Answer:

1.25 ampere is the current through 4 ohm resistance and 0.5 ampere current flows through the 10 ohm resistance

Explanation:

R1 = 5 ohm

R2 = 4 ohm

R3 = 10 ohm

I(1)[across R1]=1 amps

I(2)[across R2]=? amps

I(3)[across R3]=? amps

Now

V=I×R

V1=I(1)×R1=(1×5)v=5v

I(2)=V1/R3=5/10=0.5amps

I(3)=V1/R3=5/4=1.25amps
