nikhil1331: in the second and third step, (a^2+ab+b^2) - (b^2+bc+c^2) = (a^2+ab+b^2-b^2-bc-c^2.
nikhil1331: but you have written (a-c)(a+b+c) which means (a^2+ab+ac-ac-bc-c^2)., Why and how?
sprao534: (a square - c square) +b(a-c) =(a+c) (a-c) +b(a-c) =(a-c) (a+b+c)
