it is a monohybrid cross
example if a tall plants of F1 generation are self crossed (Tt) then we get F2 generation with 3 tall (TT) (Tt) (Tt)plants and 1 short plant (tt)

monohybrid cross because here the phenotypic ratio of F2 progeny S3 is 21 and dihybrid cross the phenotypic ratio of F2 progeny is 9823 is 23 is 21.
