HERE IS YOUR ANSWER ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Nastic movements are plant movements that occur in response to environmental stimuli but it is non directional.

EXAMPLE:

The movement of leaves and the response of insectivorous plants, such as the Venus fly trap, to prey.

DIFFERENCE:

Tendrils grow towards a stimulus hence it is a directional movement which shows that it is a case of thigmotropism.

Whereas, the folding of leaves in mimosa plant does not depend on the direction of stimulus (touch) which shows that it is an example of thigmonasty.

The answer is as follows:

Explanation:

a) The nastic movement can be defined as the movement of plant parts in response to the external stimuli like sunlight, chemical and touch.

b) The movement of tendrils in response to the supportive object, another plant. The tendrils interpret the touch response which helps in climbing to the support and provides support to the otherwise delicate plant. This is an example of thigmonasty.

c). The thigmonasty is a response of plant in response to touch stimuli whereas the photonasty is the response of plant in response to the sunlight.
