(a) Explain why the pH in a person’s mouth becomes lower after each meal.
(b) What damage could be caused while the pH is low ?
(c) How could the person change his eating habits to lessen chances of suffering from tooth decay ?

A) When we eat something,there are major changes that we are consuming some amount of sugar which reacts with our saliva and becomes glucose molecules.

In this process some acids are also generated which decreases the pH value in our mouth.

2)Low pH for a long time mainly damages our teeth.

And it also causes acidity.

3) To avoid tooth decay we should avoid the sweet foods as much as we can.And daily brushing is mandatorily necessary.
