Circle Graph or Pie-chart

Pie chart is also called circle graph.

A circle graph( π graph) shows the relationship between a whole and its part. The whole circle is divided into sectors. The size of each sector is proportional to the activity or information it represents.

The total angle at the centre of a circle is 360°. The central angle of the sectors will be a fraction of 360°.

To draw the Pie chart, follow the following  instructions:

First make a table to find the centre angle of the sectors

1) Draw a circle with any convenient radius. Mark its centre (O) and a radius (OA).

2. Start with one activity,
Use the protractor to draw the angle of the sector.

3. Continue marking the remaining sectors.
