Question 4.19 Read each statement below carefully and state, with reasons, if it is true or false:
(a) The net acceleration of a particle in circular motion is always along the radius of the circle towards the centre
(b) The velocity vector of a particle at a point is always along the tangent to the path of the particle at that point
(c) The acceleration vector of a particle in uniform circular motion averaged over one cycle is a null vector

(a) false , this is true when particle moves in uniform circular motion .but in case of non-uniform circular motion two type of accⁿ work e.g centripital and tangential accⁿ hence, resultant is not along the radius of circle .
(b) yeah , true ! The velocity vector of a particle at a point is always along the tangent to the path of the particle at that time.
(C) Off- course , actually the direction of accⁿ vector in the uniform circular motion is directed towards the centre of the circular path, which is change continuously with time. so, this reason resultant of all vectors over one cycle will be a null vector.
