Steps for writing Lweis dot symbol :
write the electronic configuration of each element to find the number of valance electrons .e.g electrons present in outer most orbit.

Represent the valance electrons by dots around the symbol of the element.

₁₆S , configuration = 2, 8, 6
Hence, valance electrons 6.

S²⁻, configuration = 2, 8, 8
Hence, valance electrons = 8

₁₃Al, configuration = 2, 8, 3
Hence, valance electrons = 3

Al³⁺, configuration = 2, 8
Hence, valance electrons = 0

₁H, configuration = 1
Hence, valance electron = 1

H⁻, configuration = 2
Valance electrons = 2

Answer:- Lewis symbol =: S: s2-% 3D = 2, 8, (Z = 16) Lewis symbol = [$: Al = 2, 8, 3 (Z = 13) Lewis symbol = · Ả • Al³ * = 2, 8 A13 + ion = [Al] 3+ (Z = 13) H = I Lewis symbol = H (Z - 1) H = 2 Lewis symbol [H-] (Z = 1)
