(a) Body symptoms should be observed by the caretaker. The caretaker should take the baby to the doctor if she or he finds a clue that the baby is ill.
Some symptoms that can be observed are-
The baby cries continuously.
The baby doesn't want to eat anything.
The baby feels irritated all the time.
(b) The sickness can only to be told after knowing the symptoms. For example, redness in eye may indicate conjunctivitis, or is the hand of the baby is paining when you are massaging it may indicate that his hand is fractured.
