step1:- consider the inequation as strict equation e.g y + 8 = 2x
step2:- find the points on co-ordinate axes.
e.g when x = 0, y = -8
when y = 0, x = 4
step3:- plot the graph using above values .
step4:- take a point (0,0) . and put it in inequation . we get,
0 + 8 ≥ 0 => 8≥0 it is true . so, the shaded region will be towards the origin (0,0)
hence , see attachment, shaded region shows the graph of y + 8≥2x
