Question 4 The earth and the moon are attracted to each other by gravitational force. Does the earth attract the moon with a force that is greater or smaller or the same as the force with which the moon attracts the earth? Why?

A very interesting question and thanks for asking. To answer simply, Earth attracts at Moon with a greater force than what. That is why the Moon orbits the earth and not vice versa.

Same way, the Earth orbits around the Sun because of the Sun's greater gravitational pull.

The gravitational pull of any object is directly proportional to it's mass, that is why a bigger object will have a greater mass.

Another example is how we humans are attracted to the Earth
