Part 5:
a. The plants respire through the stomata which is present in the leaves. They prepare the starch with the help of chlorophyll of the leaves. If they are devoid of stomata they are unable to respire. But they can also respire via root nodules which has small pores.. They are unable to produce starch if they are devoid of stomata.
b. It is also the process of eliminating starch reserves in a plant for experiments concerning photosynthesis. This is done by leaving the plant in a dark place for a long period of time. Due to the lack of photosynthesis in this place, stored starch is used up, thus the plant is de starched.
c. Chapathi contains carbohydrates. When it is chewed, the salivary glands break down the carbohydrates into glucose. It is due to hydrolysis of starch.
d. When eating food in a hurry, there is no way for breathing through nose or mouth. So immediate response of the small tiny glands in our mouth when there is a problem in respiration through mouth.
e. 
The Celsius scale is widely known as the centigrade scale because it is divided into 100 degrees. It is named for the Swedish astronomer Anders Celsius,who established the scale in 1742.
f. Liquid has the molecular compounds that are loosely packed with each other. So they expand on heating more than solids.
