           Physical education according to A.R. Wayman

     According to A.R. Wayman, physical education can be defined as “Physical education is that part of education which has to do with the development and training of the whole individual through modern activities”. Physical education will develop a person’s physical, mental, and motor development.

     It will make one’s mind and body healthy, strong, and active. A. R. Wayman is the author of “Education through physical education”. A.R. Wayman suggested that health education should correlate with various departments like physical department, Biology, Mathematics, Domestic Science, English, Art, Physics and Chemistry, Athletic and sports association, etc.
