  • water is not used to control fires involving electrical equipment as water is a good conductor of electricity it can increase the possibility of shock ( distilled water is an exception)
  • wood produces a lot of smoke and takes time to catch fire
  • as alluminium fire absorbs heat and paper does not get it's ignition temperature

ignition temperature is the minimum temperature at which a substance catches fire

1. water is not used to control fire involving electrical equipment because water is a good conductor of electricity it may cause electrical currents in result .

2. LPG has more calorific value and produces no pollution so that's why LPG is a better domestic fuel than wood.

3. paper by itself catches fire easily where as a piece of paper wrapped around an aluminium pipe doesn't because aluminium absorbs the heat so paper does not aittian its ignition temperature .
