let ages be x,2x

5yrs back ratio was 1:3

so 5yrs back ages be x-5/2x-5 = y/3y

so after 5 yrs ages are x+5/2x+5

by solving we get 1st age = 10yrs ,2nd age = 20yrs.

so after 5yrs ratio = x+5/2x+5 = 15/25 = 3/5 = 3:5
