yes of, course i strongly agree to the statement that EVMs are beneficial because it reduces the use of ballet paper( a paper which contain the name and insignia of the political parties) and aslo it reduces the chance of being a victim of fraud. As you can only press on the button of which ever political party you like so it is very very safe.

so it saves paper as well which is essential for our environment ( trees are not being cut for making ballet paper)

Electronic voting machines are used in the elections. These machines record the votes which are voted by the voters to their respective political leaders. Electronic voting machines came in recent era. Earlier the elections were done by the ballot papers.

Coming to your question,

Do you think EVM's [ Electronic Voting Machines] are beneficial for our Environment ?

A: Well, We can say that EVM'S are beneficial for our Environment because,

1) First of all EVM'S protect the trees instead of using the paper for voting.

2) Secondly, EVM'S saves the time after the elections.

3) Ballot papers cause land pollution and if we burn them it causes air pollution.

4) As, EVM'S work with electricity hence, it is eco - friendly.

But in recent pasts we are hearing that the EVM'S were culprited as they are recording wrong votes instead of correctly casted votes. But Election Commission of India always says that the EVM'S are best but not culprit.
