concept :- if focus of parabola lies on positive direction of X-axis e.g Focus ( a, 0). and equation of directrix is parallel to Y -axis but cut in negative X - axis .e.g equation of directrix , x = -a then equation of parabola will be of the form , y² = 4ax

Here, Focus ( 6, 0) = ( a , 0)
equation of directrix , x = -6 on comparing with standard equation of direcrix , x = -a .
we get , a = 6

now, equation of parabola
y² = 4ax
y² = 4 × 6 × x
y² = 24x
