Let x be the no added to each term of the ratio 2:5

Then,

(2+x)/(5+x)=5/6

6(2+x)=5(5+x)

12+6x=25+5x

6x-5x=25-12

x=13

So, 13 must be added to each

term of the ratio 2:5, so that it may be equal to 5:6
