t3 = 4
a+2d=4
a=4-2d

t9 = -8
a+8d = -8
4-2d+8d = -8
6d=-12
d= -2
a=4-2(-2)
=4+4
=8
tn=0
a+(n-1)d=0
8+(n-1)(-2)=0
8-2n+2=0
10=2n
n=5
hence, 5th term of A.P is zero

Answer:

t3 = 4

a+2d=4

a=4-2d

t9 = -8

a+8d = -8

4-2d+8d = -8

6d=-12

d= -2

a=4-2(-2)

=4+4

=8

tn=0

a+(n-1)d=0

8+(n-1)(-2)=0

8-2n+2=0

10=2n

n=5

so, 5th term of A.P is 0
