Hey there!!!

⇒ tan¯¹ √x = 1/2cos¯¹ (1-x/1+x)

⇒ 2 tan¯¹ √x = cos¯¹ (1-x/1+x)

Let √x = tanФ ⇒ Ф = tan¯¹ √x

R.H.S. :
⇒ cos¯¹ (1-x/1+x)
⇒ cos¯¹ (1-tan²Ф / 1+tan²Ф)
⇒ cos¯¹ (cos 2Ф)
⇒ 2Ф
⇒ 2(tan¯¹ √x)
⇒2 tan¯¹ √x = L.H.S.

Hope it helps!!!
