The correct answer is P.

Given: Pressure inside the closed vessel = P.

To Find: The pressure after changing dimensions of vessel.

Solution:

The Ideal gas equation,

PV = nRT  (equation 1)

Initially,

Pressure = P

Volume = V

Moles = n

R is constant

Temperature = T.

Finally, as dimensions of enclosed vessel was changed so the volume remains same.

And rest all the things are same as initially.

Pressure = ?

Volume = V

Moles = n

R is constant

Temperature = T.

(Pressure)V = nRT

Now, put the value of nRT from equation 1.

(Pressure)V = PV

Pressure = P

Hence, the final pressure remains same.
