Let the acceleration if the car be 'a'

Given that, v = 45m/s

t = 6 seconds

s = 180 m

Using the first equation of motion,

v = u + at

=> 45 = u + 6a

=> u = 45 - 6a ............(1)

Using second equation of motion,

s = ut + (1/2)at^2

=> 180 = (45 - 6a)6 + (1/2)(a)(36)

=> 180 = 270 - 36a + 18a

=> 18a = 90

=> a = 90/18

=> a = 5

Thus, acceleration of the car is 5 m/s^2 that is option (d) is correct.
