Explanation:

Dehydrogenation of 1° Alcohols gives Aldehyde and 2° Alcohols gives ketone.

Here, 2° Alcohol is not possible (only 2 carbon atom is here) so, by this you can decide X

when, Aldehyde is treated with Tollen's reagent (Ammonical solution of silver oxide ,Ag2O) it gives silver ppt.

when Acetaldehyde treated with NaOH it forms al-d-ol.

And, when aldol is heated water is removed from it.
