Eastern Coastal Plains:

  • Lie b/w eastern ghats and Bay of Bengal.
  • Main rivers are: The Mahanadi, Godavari, Kaveri and Krishna
  • Divided into 2 parts. North- Circas South- Coromandal

Western Coastal Plains:

  • Lie b/w western ghats and Arabian Sea.
  • Main rivers are: The Indus, the Narmada, the Tapi, the Sabarmati, the Mahi
  • Divided into 3 parts. North-Konkan South- Malabar Middle- Karavali
