from my view 1st option is incorrect bcz location of the triple bond should be named through smallest possible number!!

rakeshnemakarep57dzo: Same here
Siddhii: it should be 2 pentyne
Siddhii: bcz location of the triple bond should be named through the smallest number possible
masratalisha99: Now that's the correct reason! Thanks for finding it out! :)
masratalisha99: But still there's one thing wrong, it should have been 1-pentyne, counting from the lowest locant.
Siddhii: wlc
Siddhii: ooh ya it can be 1 pentyne
masratalisha99: Not it can be...it is :) Anyways thanks. :)
Siddhii: wlc
masratalisha99: :)
