Here,

The given relation on A is ;

R = { (1,1) , (1,2) , (2,1) , (2,2) , (3,3) , (3,1) }

(i). The given relation R is reflexive on A as (1,1) , (2,2) , (3,3) all are present in R. Here , (a,a) € R for all a € A .

But the relation R is not symmetric on A as (3,1) € R but (1,3) ∉ R .
