see I will tell the basic concept
you consider the k objects to be kept together as one object. so when u consider k objects out off n as one, you are left with n-k+1 objects.
so total no of ways to arrange n-k+1 objects is (n-k+1)!
but for each arrangement you can further arrange the small group of k members in k! ways. so total number of possibilities is
(n-k+1)!(k)!
