So in 16 to prove that it reaches starting point we need to show that displacement = 0
Therefore
Given
U= 6 m/s
A= -2m/s square
So retardation is 2m/s square
T= 6 s
Therefore
S= ut - 1/2 at square
S= 6*6 -(1/2*2*6*6)
S= 36-36
S= 0
Therefore since displacement is 0 it reaches starting point ( hence proved)
