★ Over The centuries there has been a vast change in the meaning of the term "HINDUSTAN" . Today it is understood as India,The modern nation state.
In the Thirteenth Century the term stood for the lands under the Delhi Sultanate.Babur used the term to describe the geography ,culture and fauna of subcontinent.

★The Historians face several difficulties in using manuscripts..
#. There was no printing press in those days so scribes copied manuscripts by hans.
#. Manuscripts copying is not a easy job, As scribes copied manuscripts,they also introdduced small changes—a word here, a sentence there.
#.This is a serious problem because we rarely find the original manuscripts of the author today.
#.We are totally dependent upon the copies made by laterscribe.
As a result historians have to read different manuscripts versions of the same text to guess that what the authors had originally written.
