The correct answer will be option c, that is, 25%.
Let his original wage be Rs. 100.
After cut, his wage = rs. 100-(20 % of 100) = Rs. 80
To regain his original salary, his wages must be increased by Rs. 20.
So the % of rise =(20/80)*100 =25%.
