THEREFORE AC = 5cm = diameter
therefore radius = 5/2 = 2.5cm
area of circle= πr2
=22/7 * 2.5*2.5 = 19.625 cm2
area of rectangle=3*4=12cm2
therefore area of shaded region= 19.625-12
= 7.625 cm2
