let \: {x}^{2} - 3x \: be \: a \\ then \: {a}^{2} - 8a - 20 \\ {a}^{2} - (10 - 2) a - 20 \\ {a}^{2} - 10a + 2a - 20 \\ a(a - 10) + 2(a - 10) \\ (a + 2)(a - 10)

Hope it helps you

Firstly consider  ( x² - 3x) =t (say)

=t² -8t -20
=t²-10t +2t -20
t = 10,-2

nw ..x²-3x =10

=x²-5x+2x-10 (factorisation)
x =(5 ,-2)

x²-3x = -2
x²-2x-x +2

x =(1,-2)

proton1: thanks
reddi625sahu: :)
