Let the figure be:
(i) The length of the lawn = 30-2-2=26 m
The breadth of the lawn = 12-2=10 m
(ii) The shaded area in the figure is the required area,
Then, the area of the flower bed is,
A = 10 * 2 + 10 × 2 + 30 × 2
= 20 + 20 + 60
= 100 m²
