Flies with grey body & normal eye colour = 250

Flies with black body & purple eye colour= 234

Flies with black body & normal eyes = 15

Flies with grey body & purple eyes = 16

Now,

No. of offsprings showing recombination = 15+16

Total no. of offsprings = 250 + 234 + 15 + 16 = 515

Then,

Recombination frequencies

= \frac{No. \: of \: offsprings \: showing \: recombination}{Total \: no. \: of \: individuals} × 100 %

= \Large\frac{31}{515} × 100 %

= 6.02%

Since recombination frequency between these two genes (i.e. eye colour and body colour) is 6.02% , then the distance between the two genes is \boxed{\:6.02cM}
