3x+2y=10
-3x+2y=-4
=3x+2y-(-3x+2y)=10-(-4)
=3x+2y+3x-2y=14
=6x=14
=X=14/6
=X=7/3
Putting value of X in equation 3x+2y=10
3×7/3+2y=10
7+2y=10
=2y=10-7
=Y=3/2

We can also write it as
3x+2y=10. Eq-1
-3x+2y= -4. Eq-2
By elimination method,
3x + 2y = 10
-3x +2y = -4
--------------------
4y = 6
Y = 6/4
Y = 3/2

Y=3/2 put in eq-1
3x + 2(3/2) = 10
3x + 3 =10
3x = 10 - 3
X= 7/3
So, x =7/3 and y= 3/2
